Megan & Kelsey
All summer long, I have talked to these two gals about letting me practice my picture taking skills (or lack of) on them. We finally got around to it Tuesday night. And it was pure craziness. The fun kind. They laughed & played around the whole time. Sometimes, I think as adults, we forget what it was like to be young and not have a care in the world. We are quick to become judgmental of our youth. We see them having a good time, cutting up, being a little loud, and immediately think of them as being immature, irresponsible & childish.
I tend to do that more with kids I don’t know, than the ones I do know. If we are out somewhere, and a group of kids get loud and start acting goofy, all the sudden I become a grumpy, old woman. Fussing to David about how they are behaving. Most times he’ll gently, or not-so gently, remind me of my own youthful days and some of the things that me and my friends got into. If I’m in a really bad mood, I’ll roll my eyes and say, whatever. But more times than not, it makes me smile, and remember how much fun life was at that age.
We're going to go out again once the leaves start changing colors and the weather cools off a bit. Hopefully, by then, I'll learn a little more about my camera, and they will learn how to smile without breaking out in a fit of giggles.
I just have to brag on these two for just a minute. They are good Christian girls. They love the Lord and have dedicated their lives to living for him. It’s not just“talk” with them, their actions back up what they claim to be. They are both very giving & their willingness to help & serve others puts me to shame.
Megan & Kelsey, thanks SO much for letting me practice on you! And for hanging out with me even though I’m twice your age. HA!

Oh man, I'm about to cry! This is so sweet, and the pis are WONDERFUL! I love that you can see both of their "True Love Waits" rings in the one of them giggling. :) :) Thanks for doing this, Michelle!!
Gorgeous girls, Michelle! I think you did a good job capturing them. I really like the photo of them with their hands over their mouths giggling.
This looks good...
